Letterboxing People
When I first started boxing, I thought all boxes were listed in either Atlas Quest or Letterboxing.org.
But I’ve found that some people have their own websites of clues which can’t be found on either of those sites.
This post is just as much for me to keep track of them as to share.
Mapsurfer (Randy Hall)
Website: mapsurfer.com
This is the first rouge letterboxer that I read about. His clues are absolutely fantastic. I read on a blog that he spent 45 hours on a single clue. Some of them are so incredibly hard that they haven’t been found in 11+ years!
His two main lists of boxes are:
Treasureboxes
McBrae’s Manuscripts
My two personal favorites so far are these:
Mapsurfer Quatrains
McBrae’s Travels (Don’t miss the fact that there’s a link in the clue that is not underlined.)
The Orient Express (Tom Cooch)
I don’t know much about Tom and haven’t yet found any of his boxes, but it’s on my list.
