My husband and I have our own online business (dog playgroups. Oh, so much fun!) which means that every year, we purchase TurboTax Home and Office so we can do our schedule Cs on our tax returns.

In the past, I’ve always purchased the CD for around $75 – 80. This is the first time I bought the download, which is supposedly the same thing. It costs around the same price BUT…

I found a website where it costs about half: $39 instead of $79.

It’s this one:
Best Wholesale Software (TurboTax). They swear up and down that they are 100% totally legit software directly from Microsoft or the vendor. They say they are so cheap because they buy it in bulk, like thousands at a time.

I’m willing to give them a try. I’ll update this post as to how my transaction went.

Well, I used them last year and had no problems at all. The software I downloaded worked great. I was all set to use them again this year, but then I saw this less-than-favorable review:

So…I will probably go elsewhere this year.
